Led by an expert consultant, you will learn the ins and outs of effective inventory management. In addition, you will learn how to use data insights to identify areas for optimization and how to translate these into concrete action points to improve your processes.
After completing this three day training, you will be an expert on all things related to inventory, and you will be able to apply this knowledge to your day-to-day role.

DAY 1 – ABC and Service Level differentiation
ABC and Service Level differentiation are essential components of the Slim4 business rule engine to drive tremendous strategical benefits. Are you looking to improve your skills in aligning your ABC and SL strategies with your business strategy and learning more about configuring these in Slim4? This workshop is for you.
In this half-day training session, we’ll take you through:
- Aligning ABC and Service Level targets with your business strategy
- Simulating and configuring ABC and SL profiles in Slim4
- Utilizing ABC and SL to optimize your day-to-day planning
DAY 2- Sizing your order: Economic Order Quantities vs Minimum Order Quantities
Minimum (MOQ) and Economic Order Quantities (EOQ) are the main driver for distributors when placing orders with their vendors. They are, however, also a major contributor to dead or obsolete inventory. How can you utilize Slim4 to configure Economic Order Quantities to improve your total ownership cost (TCO) while minimizing your risks? And how do you analyze the MOQs that your vendors provide? Slim4 offers functionality to help you with this, and in this workshop, we’ll take you through utilizing these to their best.
